MP Al-Salihi Announces That There Has Been “Initial Approval” On Reducing The Dollar’s Price

Pratha News Agency170 2021-03-19   On Friday (March 19, 2021), MP Arshad Al-Salihi confirmed that no final agreement had been reached on the budget yet, while announcing that there had been “initial approval” on reducing the dollar’s price.

Al-Sudani said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of: “We renew our request to reconsider the exchange rate of the dollar because the negative impact of its increase is making the poor and those with limited income sleepless, especially after the price of some commodities rose to 100%, and this in itself represents a declaration of war against the poor and low-income people.

Noting that the government has been unable to take any action to alleviate the burdens of these groups in return for its step, which has become unjustified in light of the high global oil prices.

He added, “The decision to reduce the dinar caused a halt to small and medium businesses due to the high prices.”

Legal: There Is No Objection To Dissolving Parliament After Approving The Budget
