The judiciary declares its support for Al-Kazemi in fighting crime and corruption
The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faeq Zaidan, visited Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi to extend congratulations on his assumption of the position.
A statement to the judiciary said that Zaidan “expressed his support for the Prime Minister’s curriculum on combating crime in all its forms, both in the field of combating administrative corruption, terrorism and organized crime, and the two sides discussed the importance of cooperation between the executive and judicial authorities to enforce the rule of law.”
The head of the Supreme Judicial Council was accompanied on the visit by the Chief Public Prosecutor Muwaffaq al-Ubaidi, the head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, Jassem Muhammad Abboud, and the Director General of the Judicial Guard Department, Rahim Abdul Hassan. Source
