Hyundai signs a deal of two billion dollars with Iraq
The South Korean Hyundai company announced that it had reached a deal worth nearly two billion dollars that it signed with Iraq to build a waste recycling facility in Basra Governorate, in the south of the country.
As for the Iraqi corporation, partner in this deal, it is the state-owned Basra Oil Company.
Hyundai stated that the construction works of the facility will start in January and end in July 2025. It also added that this deal constitutes 11.7 percent of its revenues for the past year. Source
