Transportation Minister and US Deputy Ambassador discuss lifting ban on Iraqi aircraft in global airspace
Transport Minister Abdullah Loibi and US Deputy Ambassador Joe Hedo discussed on Thursday the lifting of the ban on Iraqi aircraft in the global atmosphere and the rehabilitation of the reality of the railway in Iraq and linking it with neighboring countries.
“The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Iraq, Joe Hedo, and his accompanying delegation to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and activate the strategic agreement between Iraq and the United States of America,” the media said in a statement.
“In the Ministry of Transport, we demand that the US side translate their support to Iraq on the ground by supporting rail projects, developing the infrastructure of Iraqi airports, and improving the capacity of the ministry’s staff and staff at American academies,” he said.
