Meeting of the International Alliance in Baghdad
The Stabilization Working Group of the International Alliance for the defeat of a meeting in Baghdad with the participation of Iraq, and 34 countries.
The Stabilization Working Group is considering basic infrastructure rehabilitation, rehabilitation of schools and hospitals, short-term employment opportunities in areas directly affected by terrorist gangs, and a platform for investment in vital services, reconstruction activities and long-term development.
The program of the meeting includes research on the stability of Iraq’s liberated areas, funding pledges, social dimensions of post-conflict recovery and accelerating the transition from stability to reconstruction.
The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nizar Al-Khairallah, delivered a speech in which he praised the great efforts made by the donor countries and contributed to the Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq.
He stressed that: the post-roll back of the terrorist in Iraq requires intensive efforts, intensive and international cooperation in providing remedies for the devastation caused by terrorism in liberated cities, “praising the efforts of the countries of the Working Group to restore stability; in the framework of successes of efforts to support, Liberated areas “.
He called for the need to activate the decisions of the Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq because of its significant impact in creating the conditions for the return of the displaced and the displaced, saying: to return the displaced to their areas and alleviate the humanitarian crisis left by the terrorist gangs.
