Source for the Euphrates: Al-Zarfi apologizes tomorrow and assign Al-Kazemi officially

A political source revealed that the Prime Minister-designate, Adnan Al-Zarfi, will apologize for assigning to form the government.

The source said to {Euphrates News} that “Al-Zrafi apologized to the leaders of the Shiite blocs for the assignment, and he will also apologize for him tomorrow and formally in front of the President of the Republic Barham Salih.”

He added that “tomorrow, after the apology of al-Zarfi, the president of the republic will appoint the Shiite forces, the head of the National Intelligence Service, Mustafa al-Kazimi, to form the government.”

It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zrafi’s chances are strong to pass his government in Parliament after the approval of Shiite and Sunni forces as well as the Kurdistan region to nominate the head of the intelligence service, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to form the next government instead of Al-Zorfi.

According to Iraqi law, it is only possible to nominate Al-Kazemi if the al-Zarfi step down or the constitutional deadline for him to pass his government expires, as the deadline started from the date of his assignment on March 16 and ends with the passage of 30 days. Source
