The Central Bank of Iraq announced, on Monday, the sale of Islamic deposit certificates.

The bank said in a statement, {Euphrates News} received a copy of, that it “approved on 8/8/2020 the conduct of the ICD322 auction for the sale of Islamic deposit certificates for a period of (30) days with a issuance amount of (50) billion dinars (fifty billion dinars).”

He pointed out that “certificates were sold at a value of (50) billion dinars at a flat rate and at a rate of return (1.50%) and the number of participants was two banks and they won the amount provided.” Source
