Abdul Mahdi calls on citizens to raise the Iraqi media everywhere to celebrate the anniversary of victory

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Saturday called on citizens to raise Iraqi flags everywhere to mark the anniversary of “Victory Day”.

“The celebration ceremony on Monday will include a televised speech from Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to the Iraqi people at 9 am,” Abdul Mahdi said in a statement received by the agency.

He added that “will stand for one minute at one o’clock in all institutions, streets, markets and others throughout Iraq to read Surah Al-Fatihah, prayer, prayer and prayer and reflect on the lives of our martyrs and righteous and solidarity with their families and with the wounded who were the cause of our great victory.”

The office confirmed that “fireworks and public celebrations will be launched on Monday night in all of Iraq,” calling on all citizens to “raise the Iraqi media over institutions, homes, streets and cars and to exchange congratulations on this great victory.”

He called on all Iraqi media to “celebrate victory and celebrate our heroes who liberated the land and highlight the achievements and sacrifices of humanity that accompanied the military victories.”

On Monday, it marks the first anniversary of Iraq’s victory over the criminal gangs that have taken control of a number of provinces on 10 June 2014. Source
