Finance excludes the Central Bank and the Rafidain and Rashid banks from the comprehensive ban
The Finance Minister, Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, decided to exclude the central bank, the Rafidain and Rashid banks, and all spending units from the curfew.
The media office of the Ministry of Finance said, in a statement seen by Al-Mirbad, that “the Minister of Finance decided to exclude the central bank, Al-Rafidain and Al-Rashid banks, accounting and budget finance and all spending units in the Ministry of Finance and the Iraqi Trade Bank TBI.”
This came, after complaints by some departments, for the delay in the payment of their salaries, for the month of May.
Earlier today, the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety officially decided to extend the curfew, while issuing 11 other decisions regarding dealing with the Corona pandemic. Source
