IS Calls Iraq’s New Prime Minister an “American Agent”
In an audio message allegedly read by the Islamic State (IS) chief spokesman Abu Hamza al-Qurayshi, the group has described the new Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, as an “American agent”.
Kadhimi, a former intelligence chief backed by Washington, took office earlier this month after he played a part for years in the war against IS.
The IS spokesman said in his message that the new prime minister of Iraq remains the “intelligence’s pointed sword” on the heads of Muslims. He urged the IS jihadists to carry out attacks on a daily bases in Iraq, Syria, and other countries.
As the new coronavirus challenges the world, including Iraq, IS is exploiting the situation by increasing its attacks across the country. Source
