IED Blast Hits Hashd al-Shaabi Convoy in Diyala

A roadside bombing on Monday hit a convoy of Iran-backed militias of Hashd al-Shaabi in Diyala province, east of Iraq. The convoy was traveling on a road near Lake Hamrin when they were hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) placed on the road. At least two militiamen were injured and several military vehicles were damaged by the explosion, media reports said. The attack has not yet been claimed by any group of organization, however, since the IS jihadists are still active in the area, the extremist group is believed to be responsible. Source
