Airstrikes on Saturday hit Iranian sites in Syria, leaving 23 people killed, a war monitor reported.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, unidentified drones attacked targets, noting that among the killed were Iraqi and Afghan nationals.
Exclusive information obtained by The Eastern Herald revealed that “23 Iraqi and Afghan people were killed in Syria, and many vehicles and ammunition were destroyed.”
This comes only three days after reinforcements from the same groups arrived in the area, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, adding that about 30 vehicles carrying military and logistics equipment arrived in al-Mayadeen city, east of Deir ez-Zor province. Source
