Iran Heavily Bombards Border Villages of Kurdistan
Iranian artillery on Thursday heavily bombarded several villages in the border areas of Erbil province.
Today’s shelling came after an Iranian drone appeared over the area and carried out at least one airstrike, said Ehsan Chalabi, head of Sidakan local administration.
The targeted villages were already empty as farmers only return to the region during summer, Chalabi explained, confirming that there were no casualties.
