Dozens of IS Militants Killed in Underground Tunnel North of Iraq

At least 15 members of the Islamic State (IS) were killed by Iraqi forces in Salahaddin province.

According to a statement by the ministry of interior on Wednesday, the insurgents were eliminated during an operation to destroy an IS underground tunnel.

In a separate statement, the ministry said security forces had captured an IS leader who had a rank at the group’s judicial rule.
