BCF to Send Aid to Mosul Flood Affected

The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) will send a “large shipment” of humanitarian aid to the civilians affected by flood in and around Mosul, Iraq’s northern province of Nineveh.

The decision came after Mosul mayor appealed to former president of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, for assistance in responding to the humanitarian needs at IDP camps and other areas where people suffer form flash flood.

Barzani, in response, asked the BCF on Saturday to take all necessary measures.

Rizgar Ubeid, head of BCF office in Mosul, said their aid shipments would be delivered within 24 hours. Source
