Italian PM to Visit Iraq on Wednesday: Source

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is expected to pay a visit to Iraq on Wednesday, a source was quoted as saying.

Talking to Shafaq News on condition of anonymity, the source pointed out that the Italian premier will discuss a number of issues with the Iraqi top officials regarding the relations between the sides.

He noted that the European leader will after that travel to Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Jordanian Parliament Speaker Atif Tarawneh was received by his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed al-Halbusi at the Baghdad Airport on Tuesday evening.

“The Jordanian delegation is scheduled to discuss a number of issues between the two countries, including the recent Iraqi-Jordanian agreement,” a source said, as cited by Shafaq News. Source
