Iran Establishes Secret Missile Factory in Syria

Iran in coordination with Syrian government and Hezbollah are reportedly attempting to build a missile factory in Syria, an Israeli report said on Thursday.

The Jerusalem Post cited Channel 12 as explaining that the the trio is making efforts to establish the factory on the outskirts of the town of Safita where Iran usually targets Israel from.

The report added that Tel Aviv’s strategy is to thwart the construction, claiming that a front organization named “Anas Group” was created so as to purchase the materials from the countries like Italy, China, and certain other Asian countries.

Earlier in September last year, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that several sites have been built in Beirut belonging to the Hezbollah, calling on the international community to pay attention to Israel’s findings and inspect Iran’s movements in Syria. Source
