Erdogan, Putin, Rouhani to Hold Fourth Syria Summit on Thursday

Turkish, Russian, and Iranian presidents are set to meet during the fourth summit on Thursday in the Russian Black Sea city of Sochi.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin with his Turkish and Iranian counterparts, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Hassan Rouhani, will hold talks on the long-term settlement of the Syrian crisis, according to a statement released by the Kremlin.

The trio will also exchange views on projects and coordinations on the international arena, while they will individually hold meetings as well, the statement added.

“The joint efforts, conducted on the ground and within the political process by the Astana Platform in order to find a lasting solution to the Syrian conflict, will be reviewed at the summit,” Turkish presidency said in a statement, as quoted by Anadolu Agency. Source
