Earthquake Hits Kurdistan
An earthquake stroke the Kurdistan Region’s Sulaimaniya province overnight on Sunday, according to a statement by Kurdistan’s Earthquake Data Center.
The quake was measured at 3.2 magnitude, taking place at about 2:29 am Erbil time, said Kurdistan Region’s directorate of Meteorology and Seismology.
The epicenter of the shake was designated to be 24 kilometers from district of Chamchamal, Sulaimaniya province, the center explained.
However, no casualties or serious damages were promptly reported. Source
