Iran Further Reduces Commitment to Nuclear Deal

The Islamic Republic of Iran announced further step taken to reduce its commitment to the 2015 Nuclear Deal as its call for easing sanctions remains with no response.

“Foreign Minister [Mohammad Javad] Zarif, in a letter to EU policy chief [Federica Mogherini] announced that Iran has lifted all limitations on its [nuclear] Research and Development activities,” ISNA quoted Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi.

Iran has already, in separate steps, retreated from full commitment to the deal as it suffers from economic impacts of the US-imposed sanctions.

It said on Wednesday it would begin developing centrifuges to speed up the enrichment of uranium, a move that the West interprets as attempting to reach nuclear weapons. Source
