Al-Fateh: an economic catastrophe that will take place unless the budget is sent by the government to parliament within two weeks
Today, Sunday, the Al-Fatah coalition, led by Hadi Al-Amri, warned of an economic catastrophe that will take place in the country unless the budget is sent by the government to parliament within two weeks.
“The government is obligated to present the budget within the next two weeks in accordance with the previous parliamentary decision to compel the government to send the budget no later than the end of this month for discussion and pass, otherwise an economic catastrophe will occur,” said MP Al-Baladawi, a member of the coalition.
“The government cannot continue economic reform without passing a semi-annual budget that includes receiving loans and realigning the country’s economic priorities,” he added.
He pointed out that “the economic situation is catastrophic and the government’s lack of interest in sending the budget and warning serious economic reform stances will lead the country to the abyss as it will work according to the approach of the previous government with the 2019 budget within the law 1/12.” Source
