Halabousi calls on large Indian companies to invest in Iraq
The speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbusi, on Wednesday, the large Indian companies in the areas of housing, technology and health to invest in Iraq.
“The Speaker of the House of Representatives received today the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Iraq, Pradip Singh Raj Boruhith, during which they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, including parliamentary relations,” Halaboussi said in a statement.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, during the meeting, “the need to encourage large Indian companies to invest in Iraq in the areas of housing, technology and health,” praising “the cooperation of the Indian government in granting visas to Iraqis.”
For his part, the Indian ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to increase cooperation with Iraq, praising the development of the democratic experiment in the country.
He expressed “India’s readiness to provide expertise in all areas, and expand the participation of Iraqis in training courses in all disciplines.” Source
