WITH THE IMPORTANT LEGISLATION I WAS WAITING FOR NOW DONE, THE POWER TO CONTROL THE UNIVERSAL CURRENCY (BLACK GOLD), AND EVERY OTHER CURRENCY WILL BE IN PLACE BY OCT. 1ST IN THE NEW U.S. FISCAL YEAR, WHICH WILL USHER IN “THE NEW REALITY”.

It’s no secret that Frank’s teams have been poring through the new russian/iranian/north korean sanctions bill looking for hidden nuggets that have implications for our studies. I’m unaware of other legislation that you may be referring to here, so I assume you’ve found something within the “sanctions bill.”

I’ve been searching myself and I found two things that caught my interest initially, but after consideration, I’m not sure they are that meaningful.

1) The  National Security Act of 1947 has been amended to explicitly include the Secretary of the Treasury on the national security council. I don’t think that means a lot, as it’s my understanding that position has been practically included already. I know that everyone has heightened reverence for the current occupant of this position. I have recently been having some very interesting conversations about a movie that was produced by Mr. Mnuchin… and not that long ago… “The Accountant” features a hero employed by the US Treasury. Notable moments include disclosure of drug trafficking funds and their import to US banking sector and a song played during the final scene that says “We’re running with the case but we ain’t got the gold.”

2) There is also a revision to United States Code that seems to redefine “US Currency”:  by striking “United States coins or currency (or such other monetary instruments as the Secretary may describe in such order)” and inserting “funds (as the Secretary may describe in such order)

But upon further research… this seems to be altering the US Code to give treasury the authority to request additional financial records… not just for us coin and currency, but for “all funds.” The US Code section relates to RECORDS of currency and coin transactions.
In any event… I haven’t found any smoking guns or golden tickets. Please share with us the legislation that you found that was what you were waiting for.

Boxman:  Hmm..those two items would be very beneficial, if you were thinking of the Treasury aiding in investigations of “all funds” possibly stock, bonds or other monies received or transferred to various entities such as trusts or foundations or used in money laundering schemes…
