Samson: US officials ask non-essential staff to leave Iraq

The US State Department has issued an order to withdraw non-essential US government employees from Iraq, whether working at the US Embassy in Baghdad or the US consulate in Erbil.

A statement to the US embassy in Baghdad received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it “will also be suspended regular services for the issuance of temporary visas in Baghdad and Erbil.”

“The US government has limited capacity to provide emergency services to US citizens in Iraq,” he said. “Additional information can be found on the US Embassy’s website at the US Citizen Services Department.”

The new US action against Iraq comes days after the US embassy in Baghdad issued a warning to US citizens in Iraq, pointing to increased tension in the country.   LINK

Samson:  Trump Trade talks between America and China did not collapse

US President Donald Trump said trade talks with China did not collapse, describing the trade war between the two largest economies in the world as a “simple disagreement.

US President Donald Trump has assured that the escalating “trade war” between his country and China is only a “small fight,” adding that the two countries can still reach an agreement that will put an end to it.
