Governor of Central Bank: {Tamkeen} contributed to the implementation of investment projects

Governor of the Central Bank Ali Mohsen Ismail said on Saturday that the amounts provided by the Tamkeen initiative helped to carry out investment and service projects, praising the sponsors of the initiative.

In a statement received by Al-Sabah, Ismail said: “We commend the Tamkeen sponsors and the role played by the Iraqi banks and exchange companies in financing the Tamkeen initiative.”

He added that during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the initiative, “the amounts provided by these agencies helped to carry out investment projects and services and provided some opportunities for job seekers to improve their living conditions, and included aspects of humanity, culture, environment, social, economic and sports.”

Governor expressed thanks for “the spirit of participation and citizenship of those institutions that contribute actively to social functions and wide dimensions.”    link

Iobey777:  IMO…this must be a very Big deal! I am thinking they just need to tell us a little bit more about it! Alak sure is getting his name and pic out there for “some”reason….perhaps he is about to make another BIG announcement?!
