Iraq submits a complaint to the Security Council about the American attacks
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on Sunday, to submit a complaint to the Security Council and the United Nations regarding the American aggressions in Iraq.
The ministry said in a statement received by / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that “the Iraqi Foreign Ministry filed a complaint according to two identical letters to both the President of the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, through the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq in New York.”
She added, “The complaint was about the American attacks and attacks against Iraqi military sites, and the assassination of Iraqi military leaders and a high-level friend on Iraqi soil, which resulted in the martyrdom of the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Committee, the martyr Jamal Ja`far Muhammad (Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis), with a number of martyrs.”
