Washington: We look forward that the dialogue with Iraq is not limited to the security aspect only
The US ambassador to Iraq, Matthew Tueller, confirmed, on Thursday, that his country is looking forward to not limiting the dialogue with Iraq to the security aspect only.
The media office of the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that “the latter received in his office today, Thursday, the US ambassador in Baghdad, Matthew Toller,” noting that “the meeting spoke about the strategic dialogue between Iraq and the states.” The United States of America, and to complete the previous dialogues that took place, according to the request of the Iraqi government.”
Tueller stressed, “His country is looking forward to not being limited to the dialogue with Iraq on the security side only, but in the scientific, economic, cultural, and other fields as well.”
The two sides discussed “the file of the Al-Hol border camp with Syria.”
Al-Araji said, “Iraq needs a practical and final solution to the camp issue, with the participation of the international community, as it includes multiple nationalities and all of them are terrorists.” And these will become ISIS ISIS who pose a threat to Iraq and the region.”
