Saleh and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi emphasize development of relations and intensified efforts to counter terrorism
President of the Republic Barham Salih praised on Monday the development and progress of relations between Iraq and the UAE, stressing his keenness to perpetuate the development of relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
“Barham Saleh met Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, after receiving an official reception ceremony, and Mohammed bin Zayed congratulated on his assumption of the post of President of Iraq,” the statement said.
“Iraq’s keenness to strengthen and develop its relations with all countries of the world, especially with neighboring countries and Arab and Gulf sister countries,” Saleh said, adding that his Gulf tour, which opened his foreign visits is a message confirming Iraq’s special view of relations with the Gulf states.
