The international coalition has decided, on Tuesday, its next role in Iraq. “Since 2014, the Peshmerga have been a strong partner,” coalition spokesman Wayne Maroto said on Twitter. Maroto stressed: “While we reorganize an advisory and auxiliary role by the end of the year – we remain committed to our security cooperation and partnership with the Government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the fight against ISIS because we support a stable and secure Iraq.”
