The Iraqi Council of Representatives decides to hold the budget session at 10 am on Saturday morning
The Presidency of Parliament announced, on Friday, the postponement of the vote on the budget law until tomorrow, Saturday.
A statement by the Speaker of the Council, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, received by Shafaq News, stated that “due to the continuous discussions between the MPs and the committee and for the purpose of completing the details and final printing, the Presidency of the Council decided to hold the session tomorrow at ten in the morning.”
She added, “The final version of the budget bill will be circulated to you as soon as it is completed by the Finance Committee.”
The House of Representatives was scheduled to hold a session today, Friday, to vote on the General Budget Law for 2021, but the differences between the political blocs ended without that.
