Sadr lauds Saudi Crown Prince visit to Iraq, Arab rapprochement
Sadrist Movement Muqtada al-Sadr praised on Saturday the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Iraq and called for Iraq to have more open relations with its neighbors.
He said that Iraq mustn’t be an arena for regional struggles and disputes, noting that Iraq needs to solve its problems wisely and practically.
He added that Iraq must also end all types of sectarian disputes with any cost.
Sadr called on the Iraqi government to host more visits to the country instead of only visiting other countries and care for Iraq’s interests in these visits instead of catering to their hosts interests only. Source
