Things are getting out of control in southern Iraq: sources

The situation in southern Iraq is getting out of control as angry protests are taking control of the provinces, according to sources.

Activists had expressed concern the IRGC militia exploits the ongoing turmoil to spread terror and hamper oil transfers.

Its militiamen will intervene under the pretext of fighting ISIS terrorists, activists added.

On the other hand, they warned of attempts of notorious politician Nouri al-Maliki’s attempts to foment civil war in case he is not picked as the next premier.

Also, Kuwait has declared the state of emergency on the borders with Iraq due to the unfolding turmoil.

Eyewitnesses said protesters have set headquarters of Hezbollah militia in Najaf on fire. Source
