Al-Bishara said in a press statement that Prime Minister Haider Abadi, especially after visiting the Kurds to Baghdad, seeks to obtain strongly the second mandate, through obtaining guarantees from various parties involved in the political process.Adding that the Kurds represent the egg al-Quban at each stage of the formation of successive governments, especially as the post of President of the Republic allocated to them, and therefore the president will choose the next prime minister, “noting that the Kurds are looking for someone who meets their demands and achieve on the ground in order to support for a position Prime Minister.

Al-Bishara stressed that all the Kurdish parties are different among themselves, but they agree in the demands, most notably the region’s access to 17% of the budget, the return of the Peshmerga to the disputed areas, and the application of Article 140.

The new US consul to Arbil in the Kurdistan region , Steven Vigne, a message on the occasion of his duties, he pointed out that Washington has a long-term commitment to the Kurdistan region.

The Consul said through a video clip: “He is happy to be in the Kurdistan region, pointing to his work in the diplomatic service for 21 years in the Middle East, Europe and Asia and the cities of Cairo and Islamabad, Brussels and Baghdad, according to him,” Voice of Iraq. ”

Stephen said that he is from New York and now lives in Washington DC and is home to him, pointing out that he is happy to see the opportunity to get to know the people of the Kurdistan region closely as well as to identify the culture and history of the very rich, as described

Stephen stressed that the United States has a long-term commitment to the Kurdistan region of Iraq, adding that it will do its duty to strengthen relations between America and the region.

It is noteworthy that the United States of America laid the foundation stone for the establishment of a consulate in Erbil, which is the largest in the world, on an area of ??200 thousand square meters and the cost of $ 750 million on the road Arbil Shaklawa, although there is consulate in the city of Ankawa in Erbil.

On the other hand, an Iraqi politician said early on Wednesday that “the United States informed the important Iraqi parties that the only option to head the government is the current Prime Minister Haider Abadi, regardless of the size of the bloc or who is with him and who goes out and with who joins his alliance.

“Some US messages appeared to be bombarded and a language of warning that the insistence of blocs, parties or personalities on other candidates was unacceptable to the Americans and could make them subject to American sanctions as forces and people,” the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

“This is largely linked to the development of the US-Iranian conflict and the escalation of sanctions against Iran,” the source said. “The US administration may inflict sanctions on Iraqi parties, not on the Iraqi state.”

“There are other candidates other than Abadi, including Hadi al-Amiri, the leader of Fatah, but it seems that his fortunes under the American insistence on Abadi, as well as the nature of the American perception of Ameri as close to Iran can reduce his chances,” noting that “candidates for the settlement or independent candidates None of them has yet been decided, but they are balloons from certain quarters, whether to tip a party or burn it to another party. ”

While the Iraqi politician sees that “the fortunes of some candidates, especially those close to Iran, who no longer support Abadi while strongly supported by America, will be determined by the developments of the US-Iran relationship, but it must be emphasized that the biggest player in the inauguration of Iraqi prime ministers since 2003 and today They are the Americans, who only accepted Iran’s partnership this time, they want to be alone in choosing the next prime minister. ”    link
