Tishwash: Parliamentary Finance warns of not taking US threats seriously

The Parliamentary Finance Committee on Saturday warned the federal government not to take the US threats on dealing with Tehran seriously, and called on it not to endanger the interests of the Iraqis.
“The United States, which controls more than 40 percent of the world economy, has warned Iraq clearly about not dealing financially with Iran,” said Ahmed Hama Rashid,
Calling for ‘the need to avoid Baghdad as far as it can deal with some files that irritate Washington, and do not put the interests of Iraqis in danger, that Iraq is in need of problems, either with America or Iran’. link
Tishwash: Iraqi disrupts official work
Shivak News / Ninewa provincial council announced the suspension of official working day on Sunday due to bad weather.
According to a statement issued by the council, Sunday 17/3/2019 is an official holiday except for municipal services, municipalities, health, water, sewage, civil defense, electricity and the disaster prevention department due to the heavy rain falling on Mosul, which is expected to continue until tomorrow link
Tishwash: US Secretary of State Visits Middle East Next Week
The US State Department announced an upcoming visit to the Middle East Foreign Minister Mike Pompio next week.
“Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo will travel to Israel, Lebanon and Kuwait next week, where his trip will include talks with Greek Cypriot and Greek leaders in Jerusalem on energy security in the Mediterranean,” State Department spokesman Robert Paladino said in a statement.
Paladino said Pompeo will discuss boosting cooperation in the areas of defense, cyber security and commerce in Kuwait, adding that Pompeo will meet in Israel with Cypriot and Greek leaders to discuss the export of natural gas to Europe. link
