Parliament passed on 16 of this month, the country’s budget for next year within the constitutional period him a feat not achieved over the past seven years that exceed the approval of the Year each other a few weeks.
chattels: I find myself wondering whether the budget passed expeditiously because no one thinks that it is realistic or meaningful under all of the circumstances.
chattels: One Kurdish MP has referred to the budget as a ” dead letter “.
chattels: ” The budget law legislation in this critical economic environment, was appropriate and would allow the government as well as regional and local authorities focusing on providing services and support to the population, including the millions of internally displaced people, while maintaining the fight against terrorism and organizing Daash.
“He pointed Kubi to” The age of the budget law allows for all stakeholders to agree on further reforms and privatization, which are critical to improve efficiency and the diversification of the ailing economy, while providing approving the budget conducive atmosphere more growth and job creation. ”

“The public budget allocated digital sums of all forces and security services, with the exception of the Peshmerga forces that have not allocated any digital budget.”

chattels: “And on the Kurdistan region’s share of the general budget, he pointed out “The 17% is not it, but it is the constitutional right of the Kurds.”
chattels: I read ” digital amount ” to equate to a ” line item ” in the budget.
chattels: My sense is that the Kurds are expected to fund the Peshmarga from the 17 % which includes the provinces public employee salaries.
chattels: Essentially the Kurds are expected to pay for their own defense and the liberation of lands controlled by DAESH which arguably is a Iraqi national responsibility.
chattels: The official position from Baghdad is likely that there is not enough revenue, but in better budget times the Kurdish peshmarga were treated the same.
chattels: The Kurds want ” ……….. a digital amount to guarantee the Peshmerga rights officially.”

chattels: With the Holidays close upon us, I would like to share a personal experience with my friends about drinking and driving. As you know, some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time, often on the way home after a “social session” with family or friends.
Well, two days ago, this happened to me. I was out for an evening with friends and had more than several whiskies followed by a couple of bottles of rather nice red wine. Although relaxed, I still had the common sense to know I was slightly over the limit. That’s when I did something I’ve never done before –
I took a taxi home! Sure enough on the way there was a police roadblock, but since it was a taxi they waved it past and I arrived home safely without incident. This was a real surprise to me, because I had never driven a taxi before. I don’t know where I got it, and now that it’s in my garage I don’t know what to do with it.. So, anyway, if you want to borrow it give me a call…Happy Holidays and be safe out there.
