[via PDK] Article: “THE SADRISTS ARE NOW TALKING ABOUT A FORMULA FOR A PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM, NOT A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM” [Reference Mnt Goat post 8-3-2022 below] This is huge news coming out of Iraq. They want to move to a system similar to ours where a majority can move forward without a complete concensus. How often can you get everyone to agree on everything…not gonna happen. They need to run with a majority. I am still hearing a resolution could be moments away, if not days away…We had hoped for a resolution last Saturday and then Monday…it’s fluid as we watch it play out. I do not think they are kicking the can…its just a process that is playing out.
