The Central Bank of Iraq decided on Sunday to include banks wishing to sell the cash dollar.
A statement from the bank received by Mawazine News said that “it was decided to include banks allowed to participate in the electronic platform and wishing to participate in the sale of the cash dollar for travel, treatment and study purposes.”
The statement confirmed that “the number of outlets selling foreign currency in branches of banks in Baghdad has been expanded, under the direct supervision of the inspection teams of this bank.”
He explained that “he earlier expanded the number of banks outlets to sell foreign currency from 10 to 20 banks, after the success of his initiative to enhance the stability of the currency market.” Finished29/m99
