A current article from the WTO website shows us where Iraq is in the accession plans lie. Basically there are two main issues now. Article: “The Chair invited Iraq and WTO members to intensify bilateral negotiations on market access” this process is nowhere near completion with meetings scheduled well into the Summer and most likely thereafter. Accession to the WTO is another event that has been tied to the RV when there is no real reason for such a speculation or analysis. If that is what you think we are waiting for, then settle back and wait until summer is over and I’ll update again after the roundtable meetings.
