The U.S. Energy Information Administration announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to America have risen over the past week.
“The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 8 major countries amounted to 5.249 million barrels per day, down by 393,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 5.642 million barrels per day,” the administration said in a table seen by Mawazine News.
She added that “Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 240,000 barrels per day last week, up by 14,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 226 thousand barrels per day.”
The administration also noted that “the most of America’s oil revenues during the past week came from Canada at a rate of 3.766 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 569,000 barrels per day, and from Brazil at a rate of 234,000 barrels per day.”
According to the table, “the amount of US imports of crude oil from Nigeria was at a rate of 165 thousand barrels per day, from Saudi Arabia at 139 thousand barrels per day, from Colombia at a rate of 71 thousand barrels per day, and from Libya at a rate of 61 thousand barrels per day.”
Ecuador and Russia also did not import any quantity.
