The German company Statista, which specializes in market and consumer data worldwide, expects the gross domestic product in Iraq to continue to increase between 2024 and 2029.
The company stated in a statistic reviewed by Shafaq News Agency, that “the gross domestic product at current prices in Iraq will continue to increase during the mentioned period, with an increase of 79.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 29.79%.”
The company added that “GDP is expected to reach $345.07 billion in 2029, compared to $265.89 billion in 2024.”
Gross domestic product (GDP) is the total market value of all final goods and services produced by a country during a given period of time.
Countries are classified according to estimates of nominal GDP by financial and statistical institutions, which are calculated at official market or government exchange rates.
