Clare: Al-Rafidain: The success of the experimental launch of electronic collection in the first education of Karkh, Rusafa, and taxes

Rafidain Bank announced today, Thursday, the success of the trial launch of the electronic collection system in the first education departments of Rusafa and Karkh first, and the General Tax Authority.
And a statement of the bank, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated that: “Thus, the bank has begun implementing the first phase of the electronic collection system and putting it into effect,” stressing that it is “working to generalize this experience to the rest of the state’s departments, successively, with the aim of leaving manual financial transactions.” and collecting money electronically.
It is worth noting that Al-Rafidain Bank, in cooperation with the International Smart Card Company, decided to grant (POS) devices to all state institutions and the private sector for free, provide technical and logistical support, supportive software, and train all technical personnel in exchange for (zero) commissions until the end of the year 2023, and the responsibility of the Bank Mesopotamia. The bank’s media office said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, “In line with the government program and the directive of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani during the cabinet session, that ministries and all departments work to expedite the implementation of points of sale with the electronic payment system (POS) and in support of the decisions of the Central Bank of Iraq to move To electronic cash, starting from (June 1, 2023), Al-Rafidain Bank decided, in cooperation with the General Smart Card Company, to grant (POS) devices to all state institutions and the private sector for free.
The bank also decided, “to provide technical and logistical support, supporting software, and training of all technical personnel in exchange for (zero) commissions until the end of the year 2023, and it is the responsibility of the Rafidain Bank.”
Yesterday, Tuesday, Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani directed, during the cabinet session, ministries and all departments to expedite the implementation of points of sale with the electronic payment system (POS) and to make unremitting efforts for that.
The Council of Ministers also agreed to authorize government agencies to pay the electronic payment commission for the amounts they collect (for wages, fees, fines, and sales) according to the commission rates approved by the Central Bank of Iraq for electronic card payments.
