Samson: President Barzani discusses with the Russian consul political and economic relations

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, and the Russian consul discussed, on Saturday, the political and economic relations between Kurdistan Region and Russia.
A statement by Barzani’s headquarters, received by Shafaq News Agency, said that the latter received the Russian Consul General in Erbil, Oleg Levin, to bid him farewell after the end of his diplomatic duties, and the consul thanked the regional government and its institutions for helping to carry out the duties of the consulate.
In the meeting, views were also exchanged on the political and economic relations between the Kurdistan Region and Russia, and the focus was on developing those relations. LINK
