I have heard that Sudani has signed off on a budget. Now it is supposed to be headed to Gazette. There was some hope that it would be printed this morning 06-29-2024.
Pop into the news cycle yesterday, both from banks. Exchange locations is when I say exchange locations, they have like, money exchangers. Like, what do we have?
The exchange America? I’m trying to think some of the ones we have here in the US that you can compare it to, and we just don’t have many currency exchanges in the US like we do most the rest of the world. Was the notice that they are expecting the. Let me make certain I get the words correctly.
Distribution of lower denominations in July. They were told to look for the distribution. They were going to distribute lower denomination bills.
I’ve had two sources confirm for me this morning is that they are letting the folks know that they are going to disperse specifically that word, which surprised me. And I don’t know if that’s just because of translation, but when I hear the exact same word for the individuals, oh, no. They’re coming out.
They’re pushing out. They use the exact same words that they will disperse. Lower denominations in the month of July. Guys, that is month of July starts tomorrow.
So that, to me, was very exciting news. Why would you need lower denomination? They already have a bill that’s worth four and a half cents. Why would you need anything lower than a bill that’s worth four and a half cents, unless suddenly your currency was worth more?
I anticipate a lot of movement within. Within the month. They continue to educate businesses on pricing structures.
So when there is a value change in the Dinar, they will be able to price and the consumer will be able to adjust spending. So for me, that is your biggest piece of news out of Iraq. Overnight, bonds were still very quiet. Wait, tonight’s the 29th, so, yeah, tomorrow is the 30th.
Okay, so the first is on Monday. I’m not saying it’s happening on Monday, guys. I’m not saying that at all. I’m just saying that July is now looking exceptionally good to me.
If they’re going to have lower denominations, why do you have lower denominations? How long would you want them in circulation to deal with them when they’re a useless currency? I cannot imagine that they would come out months, years before a value change.
