“We are now, as a world, ending one era and starting another. The economy that exists now, with huge debt overhangs, with huge bubbles of market values that were created over several decades, is ending.
Capitalism was already on its decline in the 1970s, but it mobilized, pumped itself with money, and now the elite of the Western world understands that living beyond its means will soon end. And rich people understand perfectly well that all paper assets not backed by something real will be zeroed out. Suckers will remain, as always, with this paper.
And for those who really understand, it is necessary to transfer the monetary assets that the Fed prints into real ones as quickly as possible. This is land, these are natural resources, this is real estate. All this will remain, and all the paper will be zeroed out.
So the leaders of capitalism are now trying to seize real assets as quickly as possible. And the largest block of still undervalued real assets is Russia. They have already bought up what they could from all the others, but now it has become difficult to buy up.
