Today, Tuesday, a member of the Parliamentary Investment Committee, Hussein Al-Saabari, stressed the need to focus on what is contained within the financial disclosure form for officials in state institutions to eliminate large corruption files, while demanding the application of the “Where did you get this” law against those with higher ranks.
Al-Sabari said, in an exclusive interview with Al-Mutala’ Agency, that “the Integrity Commission plays a major role in eliminating the corrupt and bribery within state institutions, but at the same time we must focus on the financial disclosure form to track the funds of politicians and officials and not turn a blind eye to it to undermine corruption, especially The gateway to corruption begins with this form.”
He added, “The Integrity Commission must strike a state of balance based on competence in investigation and job grade, and that a high-ranking official should not be interviewed with a seventh- or sixth-level integrity employee when the recruitment order is issued.”
A member of the Investment Committee pointed out the necessity of “activating the law, where did you get this, because of its utmost importance in stopping the drain of funds and eliminating corruption files.”
