Shafaq News / Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani arrived in New York City in the United States on Monday.
“The Sudani arrived in New York to participate in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, at its 78th session,” the Prime Minister’s Information Office said in a statement to Shafaq News.
Al-Sudani left the capital Baghdad on Sunday evening, heading to New York to participate in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly at its 78th session.
This came according to a brief statement issued by his media office, which was reported to Shafaq News Agency.
The Iraqi delegation will participate in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, chaired by the Sudanese and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, and will meet there with many world leaders, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf.
Last Friday, Hussein arrived in New York to prepare the Prime Minister’s visit, in preparation for participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly.
