TNT: Tishwash: Where does Iran get the Iraqi dinar from? .. An expert explains
On Friday, the professor of economics at the University of Basra, Nabil Al-Marsoumi, shed light on how Iran obtained the Iraqi dinar.
Al-Marsoumi said in a blog post, followed by “Nass” (September 9, 2022): “The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran announced the identification of 25 Iranian banks in addition to exchange offices to sell the Iraqi dinar to Iranians wishing to pay the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.”
He added, “It is known that Iraqi merchants (due to US sanctions on Iran) pay the values of their imports from Iran in euros, Iraqi dinar and Iranian riyals, and therefore the source of the Iraqi dinar in Iran is linked to Iraq’s trade with Iran link

CharlieOK: On its own, Iraq is incapable of any kind of lasting solution to its sectarian, tribal problems. On top of that, a foreign country (Iran) is controlling Iraq. Tony has been preaching this point for quite some time. When the US/UN is very involved in Iraq, Iraq is more autonomous and peaceful. We have had a decade of schooling/history on what happens in Iraq when the US/UN bails out.
Doc: There is no solution. This has been going in circles for now nearly nine months. Talk …zero action.. Maybe that will change by 9/17. Sure hope so
