The competitive small grants initiative supports community-led projects that deliver immediate and practical benefits, with funding of up to AUD 58,500 (paid in Iraqi dinar). Projects must be completed within 12 months.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • Provide or advocate for psychosocial support or disability inclusion
  • Promote social cohesion and minority rights

Applications must be submitted in English through the DAP SmartyGrants portal, with budgets prepared in Australian Dollars. The deadline is 23:59 (EEST/EET) on Sunday, 12 October 2025.
