The House of Representatives votes on the resignation of Al-Halbousi

Baghdad / NINA / – An expert in economic affairs, Safwan Qusai, ruled out the decline in oil prices to below 50 dollars, indicating: “The decline in them is now my time,” while he suggested that oil prices would rise to 100 dollars with the advent of the winter season.

 

Qusay said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The repercussions of the increase in interest rates by the US treasury are still casting a shadow on the average global oil prices, especially with the increase in the strength of the US dollar and expectations of a deflation in the global economy, due to the continuation of global inflation rates.”

 

He indicated that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC +) will review the quantities of oil produced to control oil prices around $100, and with the advent of the winter season, prices will continue to rise.

 

He stressed that: “It is unlikely that oil prices will drop below 50 dollars,” noting: “The current decline came as a result of the rise in the price of the dollar and the events in the country in general.”

 

On the local level, Qusai said: “Economic diversification will contribute to diversifying sources of income. The Ministry of Finance should review the file of taxes imposed to reduce them to prevent Iraq from entering the depression zone.,
