The Iraqi Stock Exchange Ends The Week’s Trading On A Decline And Trades 31 Billion Shares
Market Economy News-Baghdad The Iraqi Stock Exchange ended this week’s trading lower, with 31 billion shares traded. The number of shares traded this week reached more than (31) billion shares, with a value of more than (Cool billion dinars.
The trading index closed in the market for the first session of the week at (595.25) points, while the index closed at the end of the week at (594.20) points, achieving a decrease of (0.18%) from its closing in the first session.

Customs begins implementing the industrial development exemptions program and the Investment Authority

A statement by the authority, received by Mawazine News, stated that “with the direct guidance and follow-up of the Director General of the General Authority of Customs, Shaker Mahmoud Al-Zubaidi, the Director of Southern Customs received the Border Ports Authority’s joint work team with the General Authority of Customs to start implementing the industrial development exemptions program and the Investment Authority.” .

After the federal decision… to cancel the structure of the National Oil Company
political| 05:06 – 09/22/2022 Baghdad – Mawazine Newsm, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mustafa Jabbar Sanad, announced, on Thursday, the cancellation of the structure of the National Oil Company, after the Federal Court’s decision to cancel the Cabinet’s decision to complete its structure.
Sanad said in a post on Facebook: “Thank you to the Ministry of Oil for quickly implementing the decision of the Federal Court and canceling the structure and name of the National Oil Company since the early morning, as the name and logo were deleted from internal and external correspondence, and its managers refused to sign, and most offices were evacuated and all connections and correspondences returned to the previous context, meaning Returning to their mother ministry, the Ministry of Oil, and we hope not to deal with a retaliatory reaction, whose fuel is affiliates and contracts, in order to discontent with the court’s decision or from the plaintiffs.”
He added: “We are with the legislation of amendments to the National Oil Law, which was previously challenged with 8 articles, and we oppose any exploitation of this law, which is lacking in articles and for personal purposes.”
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Federal Court issued a decision regarding the steps to establish the National Oil Company.
And the court stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that it “has ruled that paragraphs (2) and (3) of Cabinet Resolutions No. (109) of 2020 and Resolution (211) of 2021 are invalid and that they are canceled, related to completing the steps for establishing the National Oil Company and assigning The Minister of Oil (Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar) headed by it.”
And she added, “The court held:
1- The failure to find ways to preserve public money, which in fact represents the property of all the people by the legally mandated authorities, constitutes a violation of the provisions of Article (27 / first) of the Constitution, and that failure to achieve this leads to the absence of justice. Social and the absence of national belonging to the state
2- The failure to preserve public money leads to the state’s failure to carry out its constitutional duties in accordance with what is decreed for it in Articles (29-36) of the Constitution.” Ended 29/h

NATO: Our work is carried out in full respect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq

And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that “the Ambassador of Iraq in Brussels, Ahmed Berwari, met, at the embassy headquarters, with the Assistant Secretary-General of NATO for Operations Affairs Thomas Goffus, to exchange views on files related to The common interest between Iraq and NATO.
At the outset of the meeting, Kovos congratulated Ambassador Berwari on his nomination as head of the Iraq mission to NATO in Brussels, noting his “aspiration for continued cooperation between the two sides to achieve the common interests between Iraq and NATO.”
The statement added, “The role of NATO in supporting the Iraqi forces and capacity-building programs that are provided through the NATO Training Mission in Iraq (NMI) and the international support provided by the alliance and international partners, which contributed to supporting Iraqi security institutions, was reviewed.”
The two sides stressed, “the importance of continuing consultation with the concerned Iraqi security authorities to crystallize common visions in the programs presented to Iraq and within the priorities determined by the Iraqi government, which contributes to supporting the various security institutions.”
For his part, Kovos expressed, “the alliance’s keenness to continue providing support to Iraq and cooperation in various fields approved by the Iraqi government and among its priorities,” stressing that “the work of the alliance is carried out in full respect of Iraq’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
